Oriflame is a leading name in the cosmetics industry and are known for their high quality products. The company actually began life in Stockholm in 1967, and was founded by Jonas & Robert af Jochnick and Bengt Hellsten, they had a vision of a range of products inspired by the natural beauty associated with Sweden.
They also wanted people to be free to create wealth for themselves by distributing the products. Right from the start they operated on the person to person marketing concept, still to this day they encourage home parties and demonstrations as the main form of marketing.
They now operate in 62 countries across the globe, are the market leader in around half and run 5 of their own manufacturing facilities in Sweden, Poland, China, Russia and India which allows them to ensure that only the highest quality products reach the end user. They turnover around 1.5 billion Euros worth of sales each year and its estimated there are over 3.6 million independent consultants worldwide.
They have around 8,000 corporate staff and also co-founded the World Childhood Foundation. Add to these facts the 9 executive board members and you have an incredible company that is here for the long haul.

The Oriflame Products
There is a range of around 950 products to choose from, all based on natural ingredients and NOT tested on animals. Their products are scientifically developed for maximum effectiveness and they add around 300 new products annually. In the product line up you will find skin care, cosmetics, fragrances, personal & hair care, wellness products and accessories. There are over 100 technicians on their Research & Development team, constantly working on the latest cutting edge technologies.
There is a very impressive range of products and if you are interested in this niche you should be able to attract customers without too many problems. There’s a lot of social proof that these products deliver what they claim.
The Oriflame Business Opportunity
By joining this company you will be able to earn an immediate income from selling products, you can also build a team of consultants under you and earn from your groups total sales. Obviously you will have the support of your upline who should be more experienced than you; you will also receive a starter pack when joining. This has promotional materials and product samples to help you get started.
Every third week the company issues an updated catalogue of products with the latest special offers, you will also have access to online campaigns and tools to help you build your business. As I said earlier Oriflame is big on traditional marketing, i.e. home meetings. Personally I like home meetings and always tell my new team members to do a home meeting within 3 days of joining!
It’s one of the fastest ways to get started. In the cosmetics industry you will probably do better if you are a lady and by allowing your potential customers/consultants to see and experience products for themselves.
As most of the Oriflame reviews online will tell you, this is a great company and one that you can do well with if it’s your sort of thing. This business opportunity won’t be for everyone and if you’re just relying on your friends, family and acquaintances to build a business then you may not get the results you’re hoping for.
